Mandolin Strap

Picks

Picks are one of the most important pieces of equipment a guitarist or mandolinist uses. Hand feel and sound vary widely by player preference and by what different picks have to offer. We tend to like stiffer picks and have sold thousands of David Grisman's "Dawg" picks. To give you more choices in the stiff pick department, we recently added some new brands. Pro Plec 1.5 mm pick by D'Andrea

Almost exactly the same thickness (1.5mm) as the Dawg pick but in the the smaller and more traditional shape (see above right). Great smooth sound! Sold six in a pack.

Pro Plec 1.5 mm Large size pick by D'Andrea.

Same as the Pro Plec above (1.5mm) but larger and with three equal sidea. Very much like the Dawg pic Great smooth sound! Sold six in a pack.

Dawg Picks

There's no guarantee that you'll sound as good as David Grisman when you use these picks, but it couldn't hurt!

Dawg Picks are plastic plectrums that look, feel, play and sound like fine tortoise shell! David Grisman designed them to meet his own rigorous and exacting standards so you know that the quality is excellent.
